First Deputy Minister of Defense receives newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Armenia

First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Rwanda to the Republic of Armenia, Joseph Nzabamwita.

The meeting was also attended by Colonel Anthony B. Mpagaze, Rwanda’s Defense Attaché to Armenia.

Lieutenant General Edward Asryan congratulated the ambassador on assuming his post and wished him success in his responsible mission.

During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and Rwanda in the field of defense. They also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

The ambassador conveyed to the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces warm greetings from the Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force and expressed Rwanda’s readiness to further develop bilateral relations.
